The Local Spiritual Assembly of Bethlehem Township met recently and consulted about the upcoming gathering for young adults, ages 15-25, to be held at Little Pond, on July 14-16.  Obviously, such an event will require much preparation to be done prior to the event. The Assembly members believe this is a unique opportunity to offer service for this most worthy endeavor.

Bill and Bridget George have made a checklist of tasks that need to be accomplished.  Most of the tasks involve cleaning projects. The Assembly consulted with Bill and Bridget and have come up with the date of Saturday, July 8, to get together for a joyful day of work at Little Pond.  We will begin at 10 am and go throughout the day.  Friends do not have to stay for the entire day and may come for as many hours they can spare.  If we are not able to finish everything on Saturday, those who are available will return to Little Pond to finish the tasks on Sunday, July 9.  Of course, the more people we have the faster the work will go, so please feel free to invite others to join. 

This is an excellent opportunity for all of us to help make Little Pond ready for this very special gathering, where the youth will “Explore an individual’s twofold moral purpose: to take charge of their own intellectual and spiritual growth and to contribute to the transformation of society.”
