Ninth Day of Ridván the day on which Bahá’u’lláh’s family joined Him in the Garden of Ridván.
Dear Friends,
You are warmly invited to our monthly Devotional Gathering,

“Lo, the Nightingale of Paradise singeth
upon the twigs of the Tree of Eternity.”
This month our Devotional Gathering falls on a Baha’i Holy Day, the 9th Day of the Festival of Ridvan. This is the holiest and most significant of all Baha’i Festivals and commemorates Baha’u’llah’s declaration of his mission to his companions. As always, our Interfaith Devotional will include poetry, prayers, music, stories and sacred texts from many different traditions, but will focus this month on stories of this joyful day in the Baha’i calendar. We hope you will all enjoy a special opportunity to meet the Baha’i Community and learn more about the Baha’i Faith.
Music will be provided by Bob Fahringer, one of our favorite musicians, with whom many of you are familiar, and the program will be followed by refreshments and conversation on our thoughts and feelings about the theme.
We look forward to welcoming you and any friends you want to invite to the Great Room of our Little Pond Long Barn. Directions to Little Pond can be found on our website and please watch out for GPS; it can send you off into our neighbor’s driveway. Our lane has the tall Little Pond sign at its entrance.
It helps to know if you are coming, so please respond to this message or to bridgetgeorge9@gmail.com if you can make it.
With love and gratitude in this beautiful, blossom-filled season.
